The project runs from 2018-2020
What policy instruments are appropriate in order to achieve a transition to zero emissions from private vehicles? At the household level, to achieve zero emissions the household must either stop driving altogether, or purchase an electric vehicle. In the project we investigate these two possibilities:
- we investigate the effect of subsidies to car ownership, and explore policy options
- we build a unified spatial urban-transport model that will help us understand the effect of alternative transport policies which aim to promote the use of electric vehicles.
